Deliveries

I've only been wrtiting two or three posts a month of late and even thought I might not continue with this blog, but then looking back through decided I just couldn't delete it.

Well, our refit of the shop scheduled for a couple of Sundays ago was postponed and I hope cancelled as I enjoy being at home with hubby and the dogs on Sundays. Last week we went to the retail park to look at feezers as my old freezer kept in the garage was on its last legs. I am very happy with the monster freezer we bought in January 2007, and even though there is only the two of us to feed, I do use the second freezer in the garage. Once in the electrical store I decided to have a fridge freezer instead, as I thought a second fridge would be a good idea too!

I had an odd day's holiday from work to take, so with my extra day off last week I emptied and defrosted the old freezer and bought this new fridge freezer on-line and it has been delivered today. Seems a bit of a waste to be stuck in the garage, although I jokingly call the garage my wine cellar and as you can see the new fridge has a small wine rack!

The week before last I had made a hair appointment for my day off, totally forgetting that I had to go the dentist the day after. So I had to have my dental treatment before I went into to work. Not a good idea as my face was quite numb for about three hours. Once at work we had the shop's delivery and I was just heaving open the door of a cage when something odd happened to my frozen jaw. The driver's face was a picture as I pulled out an inch and a half swab from my mouth.

It looks like my day off for this coming week is spoken for as I may have to go to a manager's meeting. I know it is a paid day away from the shop but I came back from the last meeting with a bad headache. I would rather spend my day off relaxing at home.

It's a lovely sunny day today so I am now going to enjoy the rest of my Sunday.
